Brunei Darussalam hosted the 'Syarahan MABBIM' or MABBIM Lecture at the Language and Literature Bureau in Berakas. The event, which was part of the MABBIM Programme, served as an avenue for regional knowledge sharing and exchange of ideas among MABBIM member states, aside from disseminating the development of the Malay and Indonesian languages.

Among those attending was Yang Berhormat Pengiran Haji Isa bin Pengiran Haji Aliuddin, Member of the Legislative Council. This year was the first time that the event was held in a hybrid format. The lecture titled 'Antara Kod dan Kaligrafi: Etika dan Estetika Pemeliharaan Bahasa Melayu dalam Era Kecerdasan Buatan' was delivered by Haji Awang Mohd Abdoh bin Haji Awang Damit, Director of Culture and Arts, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
